Concept Design & Real Estate Development
In 2023 I co-founded Circular Floating Districts. A company to develop circular floating real estate.
The world is changing, the sea level is rising, the climate is changing, areas are flooding or too dry, poluting the world needs to stop, water is a source we need anywhere in the world. With Circular Floating Districts we take responsibility and create circular and healthy living & working environments.
With my associate founding partner Michiel Zwart and our team we are opperating in The Netherlands and abroad. The first concept we launched is VLOAT® - Island living in the city.

Architect
My passion for architecture and my DNA as an architect (MArch) is formed by my interest in creating spaces and living environments. From small scale- to City scale designs. Collaborating with many different clients and diverse program requirements.
My work experiences are set in the offices of Zofa architecten, Rudy Uytenhaak, Soeters van Eldonk Ponec, Paul de Ruiter Architects and since 2018 within my company Willand.
In the Spotlight: In 2010 I graduated on the design of an Urban Festival Landscape at the Academy of Architecture, Amsterdam.
Graduation project - Architect - Urban Festival Landscape, Amsterdam (NL) - A Yearly open venue for theatre and concerts. With a hotel, restaurant, parkings & all logistics to support the artists performances. Special thanks to my mentor Holger Gladys † and supervisors Mels Crouwel & Jord den Hollander.
